Our silicone glasses are incredibly easy to clean. Either wash by hand or toss them into the dishwasher. Dishwashers are also an excellent way to sterilize your DuraDram between uses if you'd like.

No Heat Transfer

DuraDram's silicone also acts as a thermal barrier between your hand's body heat and your beverage to reduce heat transfer that may alter the taste of your whisky.

All DuraDram products are made of an FDA Approved, BPA Free, Medical/Food Grade silicone.

FAQs

Does the silicone carry a scent?

Our food-grade silicone is odorless and tasteless. However, rarely our products put off a 'new' type smell typical of rubber materials. This smell does dissipate with time. All of our products are made of a medical grade, food safe, FDA approved, BPA free silicone, so while you may notice a light silicone odor, rest assured that your new glass is perfectly safe to drink from. We highly recommend that you rinse your glass after each use and not let your beverage sit overnight to prevent possible staining or lingering scents.

Can I fly with a DuraDram?

Of course! The great thing about our silicone whisky glasses is that they're not prohibited on airlines, so feel free to toss your DuraDram in your carry-on or luggage without any worry of breakage and enjoy your mile-high beverage in style.

Are they dishwasher safe?

Most definitely! We suggest hand washing but our products are dishwasher safe and can go in a dishwasher if you'd like. Certain detergents and soaps may leave water spots behind but these can be rinsed off with warm water. If you're washing by hand and are still getting water spots, this might be due to the hardness of the water itself.

Our Story

Hey there! We are Adam and Dolores, the founders of DuraDram.

The idea of DuraDram came to us after a friend of ours went camping and broke his glass in his backpack! Talk about a party foul. With the arrival of our son, we found ourselves washing tons of silicone baby bottles every day, then an idea came to us! Why not have a silicone whisky glass that can be tossed in a camping backpack the same way a silicone baby bottle can be tossed in a diaper bag? With that idea in mind, we created DuraDram out of the necessity of having an unbreakable whisk(e)y nosing glass on the go.
